Service Description

Get involved in your community with our Community Journalism elective at HillsLight, LLC. Learn about the power of storytelling and how to engage with the world around you through writing. This course is perfect for those who want to make a difference and learn practical skills in journalism. Students will complete the Byline journalism curriculum by Clearwater Press in the first semester. They will then spend the second semester working together as a team to produce a monthly new letter or community paper. Each student will be encouraged to use their unique creative gifts to contribute to the project.
